Description
Our orthoceras fossils are a geological treasure. These beauties make great gifts for archeology enthusiasts and rockhounds who particularly enjoy fossils.
 These orthoceras fossils are WYSIWYGs.
For those who are unfamiliar with WYSIWYG, it means: What You See Is What You Get. Pieces identified as WYSIWYGs are not a random pull of stones that are similar to the one(s) pictured. Instead, you receive the actual piece that is pictured.

A Little Bit About Orthoceras Fossils
“The orthoceras was a mollusk that lived approximately 400 million years ago and is the prehistoric ancestor of the present day squid. The size of the orthoceras varied from a few centimeters to 14 or more feet long, and a tube running down the center provided a means of navigation as jet propulsion and buoyancy. Orthoceras is a wall of these fossils quarried from the Atlas Mountains in South Morocco, North Africa.”
