Celestite and peridot are typically found in different geological environments and are not commonly found growing close together. Celestite, a mineral composed of strontium sulfate, is often associated with sedimentary rocks and evaporite deposits. Peridot, on the other hand, is a gem-quality variety of olivine and is commonly found in basaltic lava flows and mantle rocks. While it is possible for these minerals to occur in the same general region due to the diverse nature of Earth’s geology, they are not typically found growing in close proximity to each other in the same geological formation.
